This session is designed to check out of the daily grind, and into your body. Using a variety of techniques to assist in calming the nervous system, realigning the body, and gaining a deeper connection of how your body’s operating and how to optimally maintain it.
Pre & Postnatal Massage
Pre & Postnatal massage nurtures the mother to be and the new mother during the most physically & emotionally transformative year of her life. This session is restorative and addresses the specific needs that arise for each stage throughout pregnancy and postpartum. This session is performed while laying on your side with the support of pillows and in the semi-reclining positions.
Receiving massage while pregnant & postpartum has many benefits including reducing stress, swelling, and high blood pressure. Massage contributes to developing awareness, flexibility, and the preparation necessary for active birthing.
